My love for color and art began as soon as I could hold a crayon. I was born with the desire to create and have always been the happiest when being creative, no matter the medium. Even though my dad said, “You cannot make any money being an artist!” the urge would not go away. As a young adult, I belonged to an art guild and even sold some of my work. After marriage and starting a family, I filled my spare time with hobbies to fulfill my creative urge, such as painting, pottery, quilting, sewing, and scrapbooking. At the age of 55, when our three children had completed college, I attended the Texas School of Photography and my life was changed forever. I came home, quit my day job and started following my heart. Photography fulfilled my dream of becoming an artist.
I love creating art for my clients, art that will be cherished for generations. I also love giving back to the craft by mentoring other photographers and by teaching. This has truly been a rewarding journey!
